Retired Colonel, William F. Kringel, Ph.D., Ombudsman recognizes Bay Wood Products owner, Jimmy Wilson for his reserve duty support of employee, Joey Jones, Sgt, Alabama Army National Guard, HHD 711th Brigade Support Battalion, Mobile, AL. Bay Wood Products receives an award from the National Guard and Reserve Force in recognition of their role as a patriotic employer.

April 10, 2000 was the day that Joey Jones began working with Bay Wood Products. Jones also serves our country as a Sergeant in the Alabama Army National Guard, HHD 711th Brigade Support Battalion, out of Mobile, AL which involves annual training and active duty leaves. Less than four years later, on January 2, 2004, Jones was called to active duty to participate in Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.
Jones remained on active duty for approximately fourteen months before returning to work at Bay Wood. Since that time he was called to served again following the devastation left by Hurricane Katrina on the MS Gulf Coast and New Orleans.
Joey Jones, his wife and four children call Robertsdale, AL home.
