The People at Bay Wood

Jimmy Wilson, Founder and President

“All my clients know me and I know them. They know they can call on me whenever they need to.” Since 1994, Georgia native Jimmy Wilson has built his wooden pallet business on a reputation for quality and customer service.
Wilson got his start in the pallet business as an employee in 1989 while still in his hometown of Cartersville, Georgia. Four years later, he accepted an offer from a colleague to become a partner in a Pensacola pallet business that eventually would become Bay Wood Products in Robertsdale. Today the company boasts over ten million dollars in annual sales and employs about 70 people.
Outside of work, Wilson enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, Bridget and their son, Walker who is an Auburn University graduate.

Sherise Stinnett, Sales Representative

Sales Representative Sherise Stinnett is the face of Bay Wood Products. “I am the personality of the company,” said the New Jersey native with a smile. “I am the voice people hear and the face people see for the most part.”
Stinnett has a gift for customer service and knows the company and its products like the back of her hand.  She can quote any size pallet, wood crate or dunnage, backing it up in writing and with a Letter of Introduction. Not only that, she offers her cell phone number to clients so they can reach her 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Stinnett attended Middlesex County College and Rutgers University. She worked as operations manager for two publishing houses in New York City for eight years before moving to Robertsdale 11 years ago. She loves the people and the scenery of rural Baldwin County, Alabama.

Bob Noyes, Controller

Detroit native, Bob Noyes joined Bay Wood Products in 2005 as Controller. He takes pride in his ability to tackle problems and opportunities and make recommendations for the company’s benefit.

“I believe my best contribution to the overall organization is to provide some calming and consistent element to the natural helter-skelter nature of our business,” Noyes said. “I also believe that my objectivity in analyzing details is important. I feel that I am a good sounding board.”

Noyes brings over 30 years of accounting experience to Bay Wood Products. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan in 1977 and became a Certified Public Accountant two years later. Before joining Bay Wood, Noyes worked for a Big Eight CPA firm and for the oil and gas industry.

Noyes lives in Pensacola with his wife Liz; they have four grown children.

As the Main Plant Supervisor, he prides himself on productivity and enjoys meeting challenges in a fast-paced plant.  “Production is the key to everything,” he said.  “Time is money.  If you can get it out in a timely manner with the fewest number of people, you have accomplished something.”
The Daphne, Alabama, native runs a tight operation.  “When other companies look at us, they are impressed,” he said.  "I like to be number one when it comes to safety, quality and production.”
